Recently on an MOT they added work that didnt need doing. I feel compelled to to put this out publicly having had a car failure on a number of items we took the car to a different garage for repairs. The new garage refused to replace items that were clearly in good working order. The clear implications are that faults were found to generate additional work for the original garage. I dont particularly want this to land kwikfit in trouble but i do want them to consider a sharp change in their treatment of customers.
Had 2 new tyres fitted and received very good, fast service from a friendly team. Convenient location in Alton, just around the corner from a supermarket, so managed to shop while the work was being done.

I booked an MOT test and unfortunately had to reschedule. I phoned the central number and this was no problem to do. When I arrived I was shown right into the test bay spot on time. The garage was clean and tidy and I was shown to the waiting room where I helped myself to a free coffee and used the free wifi. I could see the checks being done on my car through the window and in 45 minutes everything was done, papers in hand and I was on my way. All this for half the cost of traditional garages! Fantastic service thank you - I shall be back next year. :-)
