The library is generally well stocked and the staff have always been helpful, not just in finding items but with recommendations and reading advice too. The blue thing really stopping 5 stars is that I wish it were open a little later sometimes.
Every first Wednesday in the month I go too the library club run by Peta Sunderland who is just great and also you have time to go and choose your own books to read everyone's is so helpful and very kind it is a lovely afternoon you don't have to be hearing either you could have dementia ext I love it just going their and meeting so many good friends there
Alton Library is a really good little library, the staff are all very helpful and nothing seems to be any trouble for them if you happen to need help with anything and they are all very polite.
Easily accessible to all. Storytelling event for younger children weekly. Computer access.
